The resort features 50 luxurious
guestrooms and suites comprising 44 Garden Pavilion rooms, 3 Beach Suites
and 3 Ocean Deluxe Suites. All are designed in contemporary Thai style,
complete with large balconies, while decor and furnishings are both
natural and luxurious, making extensive use of hardwoods, silks and
other indigenous materials. |

king-size double beds or separate twin beds with goose-down duvets,
as well as a large daybed serving both as a daytime sitting area and
as a third bed at night if needed. Bathrooms are fitted with bathtubs
and separate showers, while the suites are additionally provided with

storey's, with an open upstairs sala (living area) commanding 270-degree

it is possible to sleep "under the stars" with only a net to protect
against unwelcome mosquitoes. |

Tides Restaurant: A
formal restaurant perched on the very edge of the beach overlooking
the sea and open to the cooling sea breezes. Guests have the choice
of a cool interior venue or an al fresco beachside setting on the deck
in front of the restaurant. Serving a mouth-watering a la carte selection
of international dishes, as well as traditional Thai fare and seafood
specialties all made from the freshest of ingredients. |

of varying prices.

airport representative at Krabi International Airport. The transportation
consists of a 20 minutes drive from Krabi airport to Laem Kruat pier
followed by a 50/55 minutes scenic ride along the coast of Lanta Island
on our private speedboat depending on sea and weather conditions.

on the west coast of Koh Lanta Yai at Phra-Ae Beach (Long Beach), a
3 km strech of white sand. Lying off the coast of Krabi Province on
the Andaman Seas shores of southern Thailand, Koh Lanta Yai is approximately
27 km long and 12 km wide, making it the largest of 15 islands in an
archipelago that forms the Koh Lanta National Marine Park. |

| Layana Resort & Spa can arrage surface transportation to
and from any point in Phuket, Phangna and Trang Provinces. Arrivals
at Krabi Airport will be welcomed by our representatives and transfered
directly to the resort. From November to April, the transportation consists
of a 50 minute drive from Krabi Airport to Baan Hua Hin Pier, and then
a 20 minutes scenic ride along the coast of Koh Lanta on Layana's private
speedboat. From May to October, transfer are organized by land transport
only with two ferry crossings. |
