The resort features 50 luxurious guestrooms and suites comprising 44 Garden Pavilion rooms, 3 Beach Suites and 3 Ocean Deluxe Suites. All are designed in contemporary Thai style, complete with large balconies, while decor and furnishings are both natural and luxurious, making extensive use of hardwoods, silks and other indigenous materials.


All rooms have either king-size double beds or separate twin beds with goose-down duvets, as well as a large daybed serving both as a daytime sitting area and as a third bed at night if needed. Bathrooms are fitted with bathtubs and separate showers,
while the suites are additionally provided with open-air garden showers.

Garden Pavilion rooms, offering 49 sq.m. of living space, are located in 11 separate two-storey units, each with four guestrooms, nestled within landscaped gardens, commanding garden and mountain views.

Ocean Deluxe Suites, directly overlooking the beach, cover 88 sq.m. laid out over two storey, with an upstairs living room and open-air area commanding 270-degree views. All rooms have either king-size or twin beds with goose-down duvets, as well as a large day bed serving as both as a daytime sitting area and as a third bed at night. Bathrooms are fitted with bathtubs and separate showers, while the suites are additionally provided with open-air garden showers.

Our guests are welcomed by Layana airport representative at Krabi International Airport. The transportation consists of a 20 minutes drive from Krabi airport to Laem Kruat pier followed by a 50/55 minutes scenic ride along the coast of Lanta Island on our private speedboat depending on sea and weather conditions.

The resort operates transfer service from/to Phuket Airport or Phuket Hotel by minivan + speedboat (subject to weather and sea conditions permitted) with a minimum of 2 pax on board. Otherwise, we will operate transfer service by minivan only with 2 car ferries crossing. It's a land transportation by minivan to Baan Hua Hin Pie and then 20 minute by speedboat from Bann Hua Hin Pier to Layana.

LOW SEASON: From May to October

The resort operates transfer service from/to Krabi Airport or Krabi Hotel or Ao Nang by minivan only with 2 car ferries crossing as the weather and sea conditions is not good to allowed us to use our speedboat. It's by land transportation by minivan to Baan Hua Hin Pier and then by 2 car ferries crossing to Layana Resort & Spa.

The resort operates transfer service from/to Phuket Airport or Phuket Hotel by minivan only with 2 car ferries crossing as the weather and sea conditions is not good to allowed us to use our speedboat. It's by land transportation by minivan to Baan Hua Hin Pier and then by 2 car ferries crossing to Layana Resort & Spa.

Layana Resort & Spa is located on the west coast of Koh Lanta Yai at Phra Ae Beach (Long Beach), a 3 km stretch of white sand. Lying off the coast of Krabi Province on the Andaman Seas shores of southern Thailand, Koh Lanta Yai is approximately 27 km long and 12 km wide, making it the largest of 15 islands in an archipelago that forms the Koh Lanta National Marine Park.

Layana Resort & Spa can arrange surface transportation to and from any point in Phuket, Phangna and Trang Provinces. Arrivals at Krabi Airport will be welcomed by our representatives and transferred directly to the resort. From November to April, the transportation consists of a 50 minute drive from Krabi Airport to Baan Hua Hin Pier, and then a 20 minutes scenic ride along the coast of Koh Lanta on Layana's private speedboat. From May to October, transfer are organized by land transport only with two ferry crossings.
